Troubleshooting
Unattributed Stripe, missing touchpoints, spend gaps, and delivery failures.
No events after install
- Snippet present in
<head>with the correct API key - Origin verified and enabled under Settings → Domains
- Ad blockers / CSP not blocking
cdn.getintently.io window.ADTdefined on the page
Touchpoints missing for paid traffic
- Landing URL must carry UTM and/or click IDs (
gclid,fbclid, …) - Consent must allow storage
- Same-site navigations correctly become
direct: that is expected _fbpalone will not create Meta ads credit; you needfbc/fbclid
Unattributed Stripe payments
- Webhook secret saved in Settings → Attribution → Stripe
- Endpoint created in Stripe Dashboard → Webhooks with the Intently URL
- Stripe events subscribed (
checkout.session.completed,invoice.paid, …) - Checkout / PaymentIntent includes
metadata.intently_session_id(and ideallyintently_user_hash) orclient_reference_id - Visitor had a touchpoint inside the lookback window
- See Stripe revenue
ROAS empty / spend line flat
- Import CSV or connect live sync under Settings → Attribution → Ad spend
- Channel keys must match attribution (
meta_ads, notfacebook) - Currency should align with your primary attributed currency
- Meta / Google / Microsoft: confirm account ids and a successful Sync last 30 days — portals in Ad spend & ROAS
- Campaign names should match
utm_campaign(case/spacing-insensitive join)
CRM closed-won missing
- Connect HubSpot and/or Salesforce under Settings → Attribution → CRM
- Sync contacts & deals / opportunities after connecting
- Contact email must match an on-site or Track event email for stitch
- Sync CRM before sending the linking event
- Credential how-to: CRM pipeline (HubSpot private apps, Salesforce Developer Edition)
Delivery proof at 0% or empty
- At least one destination with server-side enabled
- Conversion events firing after destinations are configured
- Check Pixels → Delivery log (
/pixels#delivery-log) for failed sends - Consent may skip dispatch entirely, skipped destinations do not appear as log rows
- Only destinations that were actually sent are logged (success or failure)
- On-site Debug overlay may show
· skipfor consent; that is not a delivery failure
Overlay shows nothing when consent is denied
- Enable Show Blocked Events under Settings → Debug & Overlay
- Analytics denial blocks capture; marketing denial only skips ad destinations
- See Debug overlay for status, chips, and timing caveats
Channel totals look wrong with multiple currencies
Intently does not sum EUR + USD into one number. Channel and campaign totals use the primary currency; other currencies are listed separately.
Still stuck
Use Attribution readiness, Events, and the delivery log together. If you need historical repair, Settings → Attribution supports backfill and reconcile for touch stitching, run preview before apply.
